It is also worth noting that Fazel Araghi Hospital proudly pioneered organizational health screening programs in Iran. For the first time, it successfully launched a workplace health initiative in partnership with Bank Saderat Iran, providing on-site medical services directly at bank branches and staff desks. This innovative healthcare model reflects the hospital’s dedication to health equity and social responsibility
Our History
The foundation of Fazel Araghi Charity Hospital dates back to 1951. On May 15, 1954, the late Mr. Masoum Fazel Araghi, through an official will, permanently endowed his entire residential property located at Ferdowsi Square, Pars Street, for the establishment of a hospital named “Fazel Araghi.”
On November 26, 1958, the hospital officially relocated to the endowed premises and continued its operations under the Judiciary’s supervision.
In 1990, the hospital underwent initial renovations. However, due to aging infrastructure and non-compliance with the Ministry of Health and Environmental Protection Organization standards, a complete reconstruction became essential. The major redevelopment project was launched with allocated funds and was successfully completed on April 15, 2006, with a reopening ceremony attended by Ayatollah Shahroudi.
Currently, Fazel Araghi Charity Hospital operates on a 3,443 square meter plot with a total built-up area of 6,024 square meters. It has an official capacity of 32 beds and 44 active beds, providing a full range of diagnostic and medical services to patients
